Dear Lebron,

So, how does it feel? Did you wake up this morning and still have that painful feeling in your gut from last night? Did you reflect on what you said in your post game press conference “that everyone will get over hating you and go back to their crappy lives while you live yours?” I have to ask you, are you that clueless to your remarks and how it shapes the public’s perception of who you are? When will you stop following Wade and become your own person? I say this because while you do have potential to be someone great but referring to yourself as King James doesn’t add to your greatness, it takes it away. If I were you I’d take a few notes in class and basketball from the big German Dirk Nowitzki.

I know you know who he is because you childishly mocked him when he was sick, and then Dirk came back to outscore you and help his team win what you haven’t received yet, an NBA Championship. While Dirk helped his team win in the 4th quarter you disappeared. Now everyone is mocking you with jokes saying today is “National Lebron James Day” everyone can leave 12 minutes early. Although you will probably hear these remarks and just call those people haters. Granted, the only reason there are jokes is because you make it SO EASY for people to create them.

Mainly though Lebron you could learn a lesson in humility and Dirk could teach you. I bet if you asked Dirk he would give you some tips. Dirk seems like that type of guy.

Lebron, I hope one day you grow out of this and understand how much of a jackass you make yourself look like. Get some lessons in humility, and never compare yourself to Jordan. I would like to close this letter with one last thing. It’s a video of last nights victory from the Mavericks bench. This is what a team celebration looks like.

Sincerely,

Every person who is sick of your crap specifically the city of Dallas and the city of Cleveland.

I can’t explain how sweet this is. I grew up watching the Mavericks and always loved this team. Back in the day I used to go to Reunion Arena and watch games when the Mavericks sucked, and everyone knew they did but we still went. Watching some old school players like Adrian Dantley, and Derek Harper give the team some hope but it was never enough to get into the playoffs or make it very far in the playoffs. Then watching Jason Kidd’s first attempt in Dallas with Jim Jackson, and Jamal Mashburn, but the team still feel short. Then a guy by the name of Mark Cuban comes in to transform the team and city with his passion as an owner. His fresh perspective gave this city some new life towards basketball. Then watching Dirk play and stay with Dallas because he loved the city and didn’t turn his back on Dallas even when the team fell short season after season. That’s a small portion of why this is sweet. I can’t wait to read the headlines about what they have to say about this team winning the NBA Championship. The odds were stacked against them and no one thought they could do it but they did. Hard work, persistence, and faith goes a long way. The Mavericks did it in a classy way too, they didn’t talk crap or make snide remarks about the Heat like Wade and Lebron did about the Mavericks. They didn’t mock the other players. I can’t think of a better example of displaying class with how they handled themselves in the playoffs and now Dallas has it’s first NBA Championship in franchise history!

Amazing.

Last nights game was pretty epic. I can’t remember a series that has been this close and after last nights win I am pretty confident the Mavericks will win the finals. The thing that sucks is when the other team doesn’t show class and mocks one of Dallas classiest player. This is just another reason to not like Lebron and Wade. I wonder what the excuse will be when the Heat lose game 6.
