Here are some details about this new site that is currently in beta testing. It is a fun unique way to share music with friends and interact and chat. All via the world wide webs. There are 5 dj spots and it’s a turn based system. You can either search for songs or upload your own. Each person plays a song and the crowd can react by voting if the song is “Awesome” or “Lame” if enough people vote that the song is lame the song skips and its on to the next one. Each time your song is “liked” or voted awesome you get points for your avatar, the more points you get, you can change your avatar’s costume. Easy enough right? I think it’s the simplicity of the site that makes it enjoyable. If you need more info about the site check the video above.

I will start opening up the room for people to hang in while I am in the office, before I go on the radio. The idea is you can share some music, meet some people, and chat it up all at the same time. For now this is the link to my room. Check back often and I’ll let you know when the room is open via twitter.

Also, if you have never been on Turntable.FM you will need to have a friend who is on Facebook that has. It is the way Turntable is spreading the invite. No big deal just recommend this link below and add me on Facebook once you recommend this link, I will add you and we will be able to connect.

I also created a group on FB where you can connect with other Turntable.FM users and post the links to your room, and also talk about some new music you guys are diggin. Everyone gets accepted so share the link and grow the group. Join the turntable.fm Facebook group.

The other thing that you could do that would be amazing and help me out is subscribe to my newsletter. I periodically send out up dates and its usually stuff people find of vaule, things like this, artist interviews. It’s an easier way to keep everyone up todate on whats happening on the Internet.

Sound good?

*Update* It also looks like Turntable.fm is experiencing some legal copy right issues. The whole ordeal is pretty complicated but because the site is interactive there might be some problems with the way it is being operated. All the details are laid out in this post I found online.

Thank you for reading this, subscribing, and recommending this to your friends.

Wow this is sickening, I really wish Westboro wouldn’t do this. You can argue alcohol influenced the crash but to picket his funeral only makes people hate you and God. Terrible way to represent God.

Ryan Dunn of Jackass fame died in a Fatal Crash on Rt 322 in West Goshen Township Pa around 3am this morning. Ryan did have a passenger with him at the time of the crash but both bodies were burnt so badly that the second person has not been identified yet.
Ryan was identified by some of his tattoos that he has on his chest and a few patches of facial hair.

From MTV:

Born in Ohio, Dunn grew up in New York, before moving to West Chester, Pennsylvania, where he would hook up with Bam’s CKY Crew. He kicked off his career doing crazy stunts and skateboard tricks in a series of online videos, which eventually led to his part in MTV’s “Jackass” in 2000. The daredevil was a key member of the crew, appearing in “Jackass” spin-offs like “Viva La Bam” and “Bam’s Unholy Union,” as Bam’s sidekick and often acting as the voice of reason within the zany crew. He also had his own a short-lived home improvement show on MTV called “Homewreckers” in 2005. Dunn’s new show “Proving Ground,” in which he and co-host Jessica Chobot test out action sequences from TV, games and movies, premiered on G4 last Tuesday.

Ryan was recently on NBC’s Minute to Win It and raised 50,000 dollars to his charity.

This was a pic tweeted by Ryan from his Twitter account. No details have been released as to if alcohol was the cause of the wreck.

R.I.P man..

Yesterday this went down between Roger Ebert and Bam Margera. I can see Ebert’s point but saying that doesn’t help the situation give time for people to grieve the loss then learn from this.

*Edit* Roger Ebert announced this today in light of his recent comments on Twitter about Ryan Dunn. “To begin with, I offer my sympathy to Ryan Dunn’s family and friends, and to those of Zachary Hartwell, who also died in the crash. I mean that sincerely. It is tragic to lose a loved one. I also regret that my tweet about the event was considered cruel. It was not intended as cruel. It was intended as true.

I don’t know what happened in this case, and I was probably too quick to tweet. That was unseemly. I do know that nobody has any business driving on a public highway at 110 mph, as some estimated — or fast enough, anyway, to leave a highway and fly through 40 yards of trees before crashing. That is especially true if the driver has had three shots and three beers. Two people were killed. What if the car had crashed into another car?”

What is also creepy and surreal is that Ryan was working on a new movie where his character is a ghost. Check the trailer above to see Ryan comment about his death being the best thing that has ever happened to him.

There is also this short video of the crash site.

Here is a video I found with Bam’s mom and Phil. You can tell that Ryan was a nice guy who looked up to these two.

*Edit* Video was released of Bam Margera visiting the crash site.

If I find more details about the wreck I will post here… Feel free to share this with other people who were a fan of the Jackass movies.
